Hoover High School Remodel | PCL Construction & AVRP Studios | San Diego architectural Photography
Teaming up with PCL Construction and AVRP Studios on the Hoover High School remodel was such a fun one. This project brought together clean architecture, pops of bold school spirit, and thoughtful design—making it the perfect space to capture through both aerial and interior photography.
Exterior Glow-Up with a Bird’s-Eye View
The refreshed facades and entrance areas of Hoover High are full of crisp lines and a cool blend of modern and classic. Our drone shots gave us a unique way to showcase the building’s symmetry and scale—plus, it helped tell the bigger story of how the remodel fits seamlessly into the campus.
Palm trees, clean sightlines, and bright skies made for the dreamiest drone conditions.
Bold Colors & School Spirit Inside
Inside, the upgraded athletic training room became a highlight of the shoot. Between the warm tones, wood ceiling detail, and pops of red throughout the space (hello, Cardinal pride!), there was so much visual energy to play with. We focused on capturing:
The clean and functional layout
Vibrant materials and textures
How the design encourages movement, wellness, and school identity
Creative Teamwork = Smooth Execution
From the aerial work to ground-level detail shots, this project was a great example of collaboration all around. PCL Construction and AVRP Studios clearly brought intention to every part of this campus upgrade, and it shows. Every line, corner, and color choice feels purposeful.
Projects like this remind us why we love photographing educational spaces. If you're planning a new build or remodel—whether it’s a school, public building, or commercial space—we’d love to help bring your vision to life with thoughtful, high-impact visuals.
